OUR HISTORY:
The company Construma was founded in 1963 by Joseph Sagaert. The founder used to work in different textile companies and had a textile-oriented education. In the beginning the activity of Construma was solely focused on repairs of textile machinery of the weavers in the region of Flanders. In 1981, Yvan Sagaert came into the company. Yvan had enjoyed a mechanical-oriented education. In this period the company began with the construction of new carpet weaving and carpet finishing machines.
Today our mission is to make quality weaving and textile machinery and help our clientele solve textile and weaving related problems
